STORMY WEATHER Storms can be both fun & frightening. Share an experience involving extreme weather conditions. Describe your experience in at LEAST 2 paragraphs with 5 sentences.
the storm i was in was freaky.there was hail wind rain all dat otha stuff and all that.the alarms was going off and all dat otha stuff and it was freak there was like golf ball sized hail out there outside.my dad woke me up to go to the basement.was down in the basement for bout an hour.
I went outside on the porch to look at the rain and hail and it was crazy outside it was like.and then the storm started waring off it started getting peacfull.then i went to bed agian.with the fan on.what a cool night.i went to bed when the storm was over ohh yeah i was listenin to the scanner too it was fun because i heared people talkin and all that other stuff it was fun listening to all the thunder outside but if there was a tornado that would not be fun beacuse tornados are mean and all that other stuff. last night there was a big storm.that morning i was at church and my sunday school teacher said there was going to be a big storm that night. i gues he was right. all that day i was helping my parents switch rooms.i had to carry a lot of stuff.
when it started storming the sirens turned on and i told my parents.then they told me to get blankets and pillows and get in the hallway.so i got the stuff and got in the hallway.also since my parents were cleaning they had the bed in the livingroom and i said at least we could get the bed. then in about 5 minutes it was all over and i went back to sleep bye.
the storm of 2007 was really bad. we didnt have any power for a long time. our grandparents had to come and live with us for a while. we lived colser to stockton than to bolivar too. and we had to get water from the well outside.
when we went through that it was reaally hard. i was only about five too so i didnt understand.my sister was 9 so she looked after us so mom and dad could deal with all the problems. my brother didnt understand either cause he only 4 and he thought it was all fun cause we got to sleep in the same room together.
Storms for me isnt fun. Because it makes me mad. That you tv signal.and your power goes out. and it makes lots of noise. I dont like tornades.and when it rains hail.tornadeos are dangourse.hail is noisy.Hail can break a window.
In last nights tornadic storm we went to the basement for about 15 minutes untill the storm let up. They say tornados sound like freight train and right before it hits it gets very still. We were downstairs listening it was really rolling thunder but it sounded like a freight train. Then it got really still. It was a false alarm. Dad went upstairs and checked the TV then he said it was alright.
In the "Blizzard" storm we couldn't go anywhere. Luckily nothing died as far as animals. We finnaly was able to get out we had to drive very slow. We almost had to drive the tractor aroud on the road. I didn't really thing it was a blizzard just a big snow.
one night four years ago there was the great ice storm of 2007. The day before the great ice storm i had six nails shuved in my head.I was only 7 years old when it happened.I cried all night long.my mom made sure i was not going to go in a coma so she made me stay up all night. it was awesome. then the ice storm hit. it was the worst thing i have ever been in.it was also really awesome.then a huge tree fell in on my house.i went without power for two in a half weeks. my entire family was freaking out.until it calmed down. then we all thought it was totally awesome.
travis one time i was in a blizzard it was very white.it was fun because i had no school so i played black ops all day with my cousin.we had a lot of but i beat him every time.i would get about 160 kills and 24 deaths. he would get 69 kills and 45 deaths. we had fun but we could not go outside because it was to cold.but i still had fun inside.i did watch any tv.i mainly played black ops.that was my storm.
one time i was outside when there was a big tornato worning. it was cool cuz we could hear tornato wornings all the way from town. and we live 10 or 15 miles from town.so we went inside and listened to the radio.then we went to the nabers house and went to the basement.
we staid there about 4 to 5 hours untell it cleered up.then we went home.our yard was trashed. so the next daw we cleand our yard and checked our horses and cows.every thing was ok so we went back inside and ate dinner
The time that I had fun during a storm was.When I whent to Silver Dallar city in a thunder storm.When I was there the workers there were selling rain-coats.
I remember when the ice storm happend. It was cool put harsh. It knocked out our power. I had to share my house with 6 other people. We all shared one bathroom and shower.
I had fun though. We got to play in the snow. Our trampoline got stuck in a tree though. I had such a good time. I hope it doesn't happen again though
Well the storm last night was scaryy but fun!!. I was gettin ready to go to bed and the storm cirens went of. So we left the house and went to a friends house and well when the white stuff falling me and my sister went outside and started playin in it then we had to come back inside. Then after the storm stoped we went home. And went to bed and still the lighing was still at it and so was the thunder. Lane Taylor The Blizzard of 2011 was sord of scary. Because people got stuck in houses because snow was blocking the doorways. And some peoples electricty went off. But it came on in like five minutes. For me I didnt really care about it because our electricty was on the whole time. I went to my cousins house and went sledding and played my playstation 3. And drank hot choclate. Also we jumped on the trampoline. And I didnt get to have my basketball games. But all through it was fun and scary. *_*
Last nights storm wasnt very scary at all. I slept through more than half of it. But once my mom barged in screaming, I woke up instantly. I heard the sirense blaring and I really didnt care because so far, Bolivar hasn't had a single hit by a twister. My friends mom calls Bolivar her little pocket because of the fact that the tornadoes always go around us. I guess we just get lucky a lot.
The ice storm wa spretty scary with the power out and the ice breaking trees and power lines. I got word one day that while my cousinse were sleeping one night that a tree fell on top of their roof. The had to live with us a while. That wasnt fun because I had to give up my room. Well I guess, "no sacrafice no victory."

storm are fun to play in it but win a big storm is not fun to play in but i love to play in wother and football in the wother and mom dont like win i play in it but is fun and love storm and mom side not to play in it but i did
The worst storm ive ever been in was when the 2011 ice storm hit. There was so nuch snow that my dog would not go out side no matter what. The snow was so high that we didnt have school for 1 week! The snow was wet and grose and up to my knees!!!!My dad said that they normaly would have snow like that for months in Michigan!
I was surprized at how much snow we had. My dads friends and my moms friends that lived here for there whole life would call and say that they never had snow like that.It was nice to have some time off for school I cought up on my homework a lot.IT was fun to play in but I was glad that it all was gone. Thats the story of my white 6 th grade school year.
I have been in a storm before that I had to drive away from a tornado that was coming.It went like this me and my dad and my dads brother was on a camp out my dads brother went to go pee and saw a tornado and told every one to get in the car.
The tornado came over the water that it came to our camp.When we got back all the stuff was still there and the fire was still lit.
it was the storm in 2003 it hit my house and my neighbors house. the tornado went all the way from Stockton to Humansville to Flemington. back at my house it destroyed my grandpas land over in flemington it killed a couple of his cows alot of trees. At my house i had a tree fall on my window and roof.
A storm i have been through is 2-27-11 i had to go on a call with my step dad.It was a structure fire ugggg!Then we had to go to smiths for some odd reson and all of the fire fighter exploers that was there got all wet.My step dad and i stayed out side with Ab.Ab is a fier fighter that is like one of my step dads friends he is awsome.
so then the storm died off and we get to come home.Finealy we get to the fire station.We wipe down eingine-11 rescue 14 and eingine-12. then me and my step dad get us a drink and i got my mom one and i get home and i go to my bedroom and lay down. the storm thet i had fun in was. wear the frount yeard was flouded and my dog was casing us throu the water. My dog is about a foot long and weghs 27 pounds. The storm lasted for howers.the water by the time it was don raining the water was at least 3in deap. we all wear souckt. i got sick frome it. my sister did not neather did the nabor haly.so that is why i like storms. have a good day
When the ice storm hit, i was freaking out a bit.(not really) it was awesome i luv the cold. We did not go out of power at all. We were ok. My sister on the other hand she was scared she.... well ya kinda know.:) That morning I heard a noise like a rumbleing or a cracking sound i went outside to see what it was, in the backyard a tree fell and it was leaning on were I sleep like above it. :o My unkle came and choped it down and that night I felt something cold on me like it felt like ice. Brrrrrr :P I looked up and i could see something right above me. I peered up and saw the sky. The roof had a small hole in the roof. :( I ran and got duck tape and i taped up the roof and my brother saw me and ran to my grandmother. She hissled in my room. she asked what are you doing??? i am fixing the roof and that night i slept good and i was really tired when my sister woke me up and i fell back asleep. THE END.
One time me and my family me and my family were going to texas. And we were in oklahoma and it started storming so bad my dad had to pull over and a under pass. We had to stay under there like 10 minutes. It started hailing. It was kinda scary haha. Then it started lighting and that mad it even more scary and then my sister screamed really loud when it thounder and i could not hear out of my left ear for about 30 minutes.. But then we started going again and it was still raining but we could see so it was all good. Then we got to texas and it was really nice like 70 and sunny ahha.
I was in a tornado. It was about 3 to 4 years ago. we were at my grandma junes house with all my family. Even my family from dexter. Everyone was scared.
I was probably one of the most scared people. I went to the basement with my cousins and i hid next to the fridge with pellows all around me. THen after about 30 min i came out and was exited. I played ping pong and pool with my cousin hank. THat was my storm adventure.

Two years ago i was in arkansas and we were staying in a cabin off the white river and the river was rising rapidly. the water went up 20 feet up the hill and started to flood the basement. all around us was water about 4 or 5 feet deep. so we were traped out there we had to get amerjase resueed us. we went to the nearest town and stayed at a hotel for 1 day then we went home
my worst storm was a tornado. it touched down one mile away. i was so scared and crying boo hoo my dad would say.today i am not scared.and there was lightning and hail.
my power went out.i was scared. my bro was scared.the school was scared.i was mostly scared
durng the storm i was watching CSI but it stoped.So the news could come on.our freinds called us cause they dont have analog tv.we were in our hallway all night.the next night we fornd out my sister has strep trought.

I went to the basement and we stayed down there for a little bit. then we played battle ship and i almost won. i also played life which is really fun. then we heard and saw the hail hitting our window. i watched that for a while. then we looked at the radar for the weather. i also went to get my ipod and i played on that for a while. then i played battleship again. then we went back upstairs and went to bed.
The storm I'm talking about happened about 2007. The weather people said we were in a tornado warning. I was with my mom, and we were at the primary school, picking up my brother. This was when we were both in summer school at the time. Me and my mom got to my brother, and we went to the bathrooms to duck for cover. When the weather people said it was then a flash flood, my family scrambled to our car. Then we were safe at home.

During that time we had to wake my brother up.Garron went in my mom's room.Garron woke up in the middle of the night.He went in his room and didn'tcome back in my mom's room.That morning my dog Max was barking.Max was barking at three deers.
On Sunday there was a tornado watch but there was really no tornado.There was really hard hail coming down.I think the storm looked cool.We all just stayed at the house besause we knew there wasn't going to be a tornado.But my mom took us into safty.
The baby's were smiling and they were excited. They loved the rain.We all watched the storm.Then we went inside the house and watched TV.It was a good storm to watch.

I find storms to be interesting. Not scary, not quiet, but cool. I mean if a hail hits my little bro. I would love storms. Plus he's already terrified. So storms are already pretty AWESOME!!
I think storms are awesome. Only one experience I can remember that I enjoyed. The most recent storm, my brother was terrorfied. I considered turning the lights out to give him a heart attack, but I decided not to. I WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obe time I was in a bad storm. That storm happened a couple of years ago. At about 2:00 it started raining. When my mom picked me up we went to my grandmas to the storm shelter. Then we started waiting.
My grandma came down and said there was a tornado warning for polk county. We decided to stay at my grandmas until the storm was over. When the storm was over we went home. When we came home the wind had blew stuff all over our yard. After that there wasnt another bad storm that year
During the ice storm a couple years back, my friend Drew Carpender was at my house. during the ice storm we played lots of games like 21,texas hold em',5 card draw, and alot more gambling games. We lit ip the room with a light bar and 5 candles. We olny hanged out in the livingroom because the resty of the house was below freezing. I had to go get my clothes in my room and it was as cold as ice. We went into town for my birthday at my grampas house. Traffic was horrible cause everybody was getting something to eat at the fast food restraunts. So we were a hour late to my birthday party. I had a cool birthday cake. It was in the shape of a football.

Then i went downstairs because she had scarred me so much. and she had scared me so much that i started cuddleing up to my pellow pet that my nephew (tristan) got me and started shaking saying go away gost. then i went under my comfeter and then i took it under my nephews lil indoor treehouse. then the storm had woke him up so i went and got him and he came with me. and he came where i did in his indoor tree house.

I do not think that storms are very scary they are cooler than scary. The worst storm that i was in was the ice storm we had a few years ago we didn't have electicity for five day. at my house we had to block off half of the house so it would be warm.So when you would go into my room you could see your breath.We had to all sleep in the living room it was kind of wierd because we had to use that matress to my bed.
Storms are not scary I kind of like storms I like to look at the lighting that would come through my window. I have never been through a storm when i have to go into our basement. I like when it rains because it sounds cool. I dont have to worry about not having electricity anymore and not being cold because we have a pellite stove now.I really like storms in less the sirens are going off because then i cant sleep because they are so laud.

There was a bad storm the other night on sunday about 10:30. The sirens were going off and i was a sleep then my mom woke me up and said rhere is a tornado and then she pt me and my brother in the closet.My brother is scared of storms so he cried.
Then the sirens started to stop and then i slept in my moms roomon the floor. then the next day at school i was very tired.
i think the worst storm i've been in was the blizzard on 2010 in december because it was snowing really bad and we drove in 4wd all week ..... the day after we had to go to town to go get some food for the house and we left and we drove home and tryied going up the drive way (still in 4wd) and had to go up 3 times while pushing snow with the front bumper... and we slid to!!!! it as really scary.. but later in the day we went sleading and made snow forts taller than me!!!!!! it was soooo fun!
when this allhappened we decided to stay inside for the fallowing day so we wont have to deal with the drive way... so when we were inside i cleaned my room, house and shovled around the house!! it got kinda boring and my arms heart after a while... uhgg... and sthe funny thing is i threw snow at my dad and he caught it in his mouth and ate it!!!
I like storms even if they are scary. Storms are fun because the electricity can go out. And the only thing I don't like about storms are that my family and me have to be smushed into a tiny room. The type of storm I like most are snow storms. My favorite storm was the snow storm in 2007.
The storm I hated most was the storm on Sunday because it woke me up at around 10:30. And the hail was pouring down on my bedroom window. I thought it was going to bust my window. But I finally feel back to sleep. On Monday I looked out and it looked like had happened!
The storm Sunday wasnt bad at all. I went to my room atound 9:00 to lay in my bed and text. I layed down and turned on my radio. I was texting and all of a sudden it started raining. I didnt really think anything of it though.
All of a sudden I heard some sirons. My mom came into my room and got me out of bed. I told all of my friends because alot of them live in the country. After that I grabbed a case of Diet Dr. Pepper and some snacks and went to our bathroom. It all turned out to be just fine.
In May of 2004 there was a big tornado in Buffalo. At the time I lived in Buffalo. I was at home that night with my grandma, because my parents were at a meeting. I was watching TV just like normal. It was dark so we couldn't see what was going on outside.
My dog started barking so we went out side to see what was wrong. The wind was blowing really hard so we brought the dog in. My grandma said to get in the closet when she saw the tornado coming. We had huge windows in the house so I could see trees and stuff blowing around. Nothing happened to my house but lots of houses were tore down that night.

Then that night a siran went off.So we ran down stairs.Got some blankets.And went to the basment. We were under there for an hour

We went to my grandmas house. my grandmas house was warm and cozy. My mom and dad stayed up late playing monoply. I was tired and sleepy. I went to bed and woke up early.
IN THE ICE STORM IN 2007 I GOT SCARED. MY BROTHERS WERE SCREAMING. I THOUGHT IT WAS SO FUNNEY.THE LIGHTS WERE OUT FOR A WEEK AND A HALF. WE HAD TO STAY AT MY GRANDMAS HOUSE.
WE POPPED POPCORN. IT WAS SO COLD. WE ALWAYS UNDER BLANKETS BY THE FIRE.WE WOULD LAUGH ALL THE TIME. IT WAS FUN AND SCAREY.

we staid there about 4 to 5 hours untell it cleered up.then we went home.our yard was trashed. so the next daw we cleand our yard and checked our horses and cows.every thing was ok so we went back inside and ate dinner

The time that I had fun during a storm was.When I whent to Silver Dallar city in a thunder storm.When I was there the workers there were selling rain-coats.
I remember when the ice storm happend. It was cool put harsh. It knocked out our power. I had to share my house with 6 other people. We all shared one bathroom and shower.
I had fun though. We got to play in the snow. Our trampoline got stuck in a tree though. I had such a good time. I hope it doesn't happen again though

Well the storm last night was scaryy but fun!!. I was gettin ready to go to bed and the storm cirens went of. So we left the house and went to a friends house and well when the white stuff falling me and my sister went outside and started playin in it then we had to come back inside.
Then after the storm stoped we went home. And went to bed and still the lighing was still at it and so was the thunder. But we all went to bed and got up in the morning like usual!=)

the storm i was in was freaky.there was hail wind rain all dat otha stuff and all that.the alarms was going off and all dat otha stuff and it was freak there was like golf ball sized hail out there outside.my dad woke me up to go to the basement.was down in the basement for bout an hour.
when it started storming the sirens turned on and i told my parents.then they told me to get blankets and pillows and get in the hallway.so i got the stuff and got in the hallway.also since my parents were cleaning they had the bed in the livingroom and i said at least we could get the bed. then in about 5 minutes it was all over and i went back to sleep bye.

The Blizzard of 2011 was sord of scary. Because people got stuck in houses because snow was blocking the doorways. And some peoples electricty went off. But it came on in like five minutes. For me I didnt really care about it because our electricty was on the whole time.
I went to my cousins house and went sledding and played my playstation 3. And drank hot choclate. Also we jumped on the trampoline. And I didnt get to have my basketball games. But all through it was fun and scary. *_*

Last nights storm wasnt very scary at all. I slept through more than half of it. But once my mom barged in screaming, I woke up instantly. I heard the sirense blaring and I really didnt care because so far, Bolivar hasn't had a single hit by a twister. My friends mom calls Bolivar her little pocket because of the fact that the tornadoes always go around us. I guess we just get lucky a lot.
The ice storm wa spretty scary with the power out and the ice breaking trees and power lines. I got word one day that while my cousinse were sleeping one night that a tree fell on top of their roof. The had to live with us a while. That wasnt fun because I had to give up my room. Well I guess, "no sacrafice no victory."

The worst storm ive ever been in was when the 2011 ice storm hit. There was so nuch snow that my dog would not go out side no matter what. The snow was so high that we didnt have school for 1 week! The snow was wet and grose and up to my knees!!!!My dad said that they normaly would have snow like that for months in Michigan!
I was surprized at how much snow we had. My dads friends and my moms friends that lived here for there whole life would call and say that they never had snow like that.It was nice to have some time off for school I cought up on my homework a lot.IT was fun to play in but I was glad that it all was gone. Thats the story of my white 6 th grade school year.

I have been in a storm before that I had to drive away from a tornado that was coming.It went like this me and my dad and my dads brother was on a camp out my dads brother went to go pee and saw a tornado and told every one to get in the car.
The tornado came over the water that it came to our camp.When we got back all the stuff was still there and the fire was still lit.
it was the storm in 2003 it hit my house and my neighbors house. the tornado went all the way from Stockton to Humansville to Flemington. back at my house it destroyed my grandpas land over in flemington it killed a couple of his cows alot of trees. At my house i had a tree fall on my window and roof.

so then the storm died off and we get to come home.Finealy we get to the fire station.We wipe down eingine-11 rescue 14 and eingine-12. then me and my step dad get us a drink and i got my mom one and i get home and i go to my bedroom and lay down. the storm thet i had fun in was. wear the frount yeard was flouded and my dog was casing us throu the water. My dog is about a foot long and weghs 27 pounds. The storm lasted for howers.the water by the time it was don raining the water was at least 3in deap.

THE ICE STORM OF 2007 :)
When the ice storm hit, i was freaking out a bit.(not really) it was awesome i luv the cold. We did not go out of power at all. We were ok. My sister on the other hand she was scared she.... well ya kinda know.:) That morning I heard a noise like a rumbleing or a cracking sound i went outside to see what it was, in the backyard a tree fell and it was leaning on were I sleep like above it. :o
My unkle came and choped it down and that night I felt something cold on me like it felt like ice. Brrrrrr :P
I looked up and i could see something right above me. I peered up and saw the sky. The roof had a small hole in the roof. :(
I ran and got duck tape and i taped up the roof and my brother saw me and ran to my grandmother. She hissled in my room.
she asked what are you doing???
i am fixing the roof and that night i slept good and i was really tired when my sister woke me up and i fell back asleep.

One time me and my family me and my family were going to texas. And we were in oklahoma and it started storming so bad my dad had to pull over and a under pass. We had to stay under there like 10 minutes. It started hailing. It was kinda scary haha.
Then it started lighting and that mad it even more scary and then my sister screamed really loud when it thounder and i could not hear out of my left ear for about 30 minutes.. But then we started going again and it was still raining but we could see so it was all good. Then we got to texas and it was really nice like 70 and sunny ahha.

I was in a tornado. It was about 3 to 4 years ago. we were at my grandma junes house with all my family. Even my family from dexter.
Everyone was scared.
I was probably one of the most scared people. I went to the basement with my cousins and i hid next to the fridge with pellows all around me. THen after about 30 min i came out and was exited. I played ping pong and pool with my cousin hank. THat was my storm adventure.

there was a really bad storm on sunday. when we were laying down my aunt had told us that there was a tornado coming. so we went downstairs and sit. when we came up stairs ot was poring rain.also it was hailing.
when we had been up stairs the news that the hail was the size of a quarter. the hail had allmost took up the floor.my little brother did not know whar was going on. he was laighing really hard for some reason.that was the bad storm.
I find storms to be interesting. Not scary, not quiet, but cool. I mean if a hail hits my little bro. I would love storms. Plus he's already terrified. So storms are already pretty AWESOME!!

During the ice storm a couple years back, my friend Drew Carpender was at my house. during the ice storm we played lots of games like 21,texas hold em',5 card draw, and alot more gambling games. We lit ip the room with a light bar and 5 candles. We olny hanged out in the livingroom because the resty of the house was below freezing. I had to go get my clothes in my room and it was as cold as ice.
We went into town for my birthday at my grampas house. Traffic was horrible cause everybody was getting something to eat at the fast food restraunts. So we were a hour late to my birthday party. I had a cool birthday cake. It was in the shape of a football.

Then i went downstairs because she had scarred me so much. and she had scared me so much that i started cuddleing up to my pellow pet that my nephew (tristan) got me and started shaking saying go away gost. then i went under my comfeter and then i took it under my nephews lil indoor treehouse. then the storm had woke him up so i went and got him and he came with me. and he came where i did in his indoor tree house.

there was a bad storm on sunday. me and my family went to the basement. we had been down there for 2 hour just in cause.There is a gargae dooe there and so water was coming threw and the hail almost broke the windows from above. My family and fruends wgere really scared because it was really bad.
On the blizzard in Januaet my family couldnt go anywhere.but my family stoll had to go work and it was hard for them to get out. I coudnt go out in the snow and plat because i was really sick. The blizzard was really bad. The storm was soo bad that in some places it reaxged my hips and knees.

I do not think that storms are very scary they are cooler than scary. The worst storm that i was in was the ice storm we had a few years ago we didn't have electicity for five day. at my house we had to block off half of the house so it would be warm.So when you would go into my room you could see your breath.We had to all sleep in the living room it was kind of wierd because we had to use that matress to my bed.
Storms are not scary I kind of like storms I like to look at the lighting that would come through my window. I have never been through a storm when i have to go into our basement. I like when it rains because it sounds cool. I dont have to worry about not having electricity anymore and not being cold because we have a pellite stove now.I really like storms in less the sirens are going off because then i cant sleep because they are so laud.

i think the worst storm i've been in was the blizzard on 2010 in december because it was snowing really bad and we drove in 4wd all week ..... the day after we had to go to town to go get some food for the house and we left and we drove home and tryied going up the drive way (still in 4wd) and had to go up 3 times while pushing snow with the front bumper... and we slid to!!!! it as really scary.. but later in the day we went sleading and made snow forts taller than me!!!!!! it was soooo fun!
when this allhappened we decided to stay inside for the fallowing day so we wont have to deal with the drive way... so when we were inside i cleaned my room, house and shovled around the house!! it got kinda boring and my arms heart after a while... uhgg...
and sthe funny thing is i threw snow at my dad and he caught it in his mouth and ate it!!!

I like storms even if they are scary. Storms are fun because the electricity can go out. And the only thing I don't like about storms are that my family and me have to be smushed into a tiny room. The type of storm I like most are snow storms. My favorite storm was the snow storm in 2007.
The storm I hated most was the storm on Sunday because it woke me up at around 10:30. And the hail was pouring down on my bedroom window. I thought it was going to bust my window. But I finally feel back to sleep. On Monday I looked out and it looked like had happened!

The storm Sunday wasnt bad at all. I went to my room atound 9:00 to lay in my bed and text. I layed down and turned on my radio. I was texting and all of a sudden it started raining. I didnt really think anything of it though.
All of a sudden I heard some sirons. My mom came into my room and got me out of bed. I told all of my friends because alot of them live in the country. After that I grabbed a case of Diet Dr. Pepper and some snacks and went to our bathroom. It all turned out to be just fine.

In May of 2004 there was a big tornado in Buffalo. At the time I lived in Buffalo. I was at home that night with my grandma, because my parents were at a meeting. I was watching TV just like normal. It was dark so we couldn't see what was going on outside.
My dog started barking so we went out side to see what was wrong. The wind was blowing really hard so we brought the dog in. My grandma said to get in the closet when she saw the tornado coming. We had huge windows in the house so I could see trees and stuff blowing around. Nothing happened to my house but lots of houses were tore down that night.
